Shirley Ann Cleghorn, age 80 of Double Springs, Alabama, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her residence. She was born to Carlo and Dorothy Robins. Shirley drove a bus for Winston County Schools for over 20 years. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, cooking and taking care of friends and loved ones. Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church #2 in Double Springs, where a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill #2 Cemetery. Brother Brian Weems, Brother Jeffery Wiggins and Brother Larry Dyar will officiate. Shirley was survived by her husband, MCarthur Cleghorn; sons, Carlos and Rodney Cleghorn; daughter in laws, Debbie and Regina Cleghorn; sisters, Letha Hood, Beverley Hockenberry and Dyna Burgett; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Icy and Caney Robins; parents, Carlo and Dorothy Robins; brothers, Tommy Joe Robins and Horace Collier; sons, Earnie Cleghorn and Greg Cleghorn; and grandsons, Nicolas Cleghorn and Josh Key.
