Funeral service for Sherry Lynn (Woodall) Snow, age 66, of Decatur will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Woodall officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Snow, who died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital, was born February 17, 1958, in Alabama to Harold Raymond Woodall Sr. and Doris Crowe Woodall. She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Harold “Woody” Woodall, Jr. Sherry enjoyed crocheting, watching Hallmark and scary movies, and family game nights but her most favorite hobby was shooting pool with her husband, friends, and pool group, The Screwballs 8-9.
She is survived by her husband Bill Snow, son, Gordon Phillips, Jr.; two daughters, Amanda McPeters and Sandra Morrow (Bart); mother, Doris Woodall; brother, Marty Woodall; two sisters, Diane Williams and Tammy Legg (Vernon); 10 grandchildren, Anna McPeters (Tyler Harrison), Stacey McPeters (Blaine Sanders), Gracie Davis (Skylar), Katie Morrow, Haylee Morrow, Lucy Phillips, Gordon “Tre” Phillips, III, Sophie Phillips, Casie Phillips, and Graycen Woodall; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Skylar Davis, Tyler Harrison, Blaine Sanders, Chris Woodall, Alex Woodall, and David Snow. Honorary pallbearers will be Bart Morrow, Ray Kahle, Vernon Legg, Cecil Legg, Dwight Witt, and Kenneth Snow.
