Sherry dedicated over 50 years of her life to serving others, initially working and retiring for T.D.S., formerly Continental and TN Telephone Co., and later serving as President of Big Brothers for West Wilson Co. / Mt. Juliet. She made sure no one went hungry and fed anyone in need, along with providing people with either a pair of new shoes or children with toys. Mrs. Bilbrey never met a stranger and loved everyone as if they were her own family. A former Rotarian of the Mt. Juliet Rotary Club and member of the Lions Club, Sherry served her community well and her involvement exceeded anyone’s expectations. Her community loved her back and nominated her to be recognized as Mt. Juliet Chronicle’s Woman of the Year.

Beyond her professional life, Mrs. Bilbrey was a respected and cherished wife, mother, and friend to countless people. She lived for her family, specifically her son. Being “Granny” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren quickly became her biggest passion and made sure they were loved beyond measure. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, and her presence lit up the lives of those around her. Having a true servant’s heart, Sherry lived a life marked by warmth, leadership, and service.
