Sherry Cates Wallace, age 58, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Marshall Medical Center.
She was born January 18, 1966, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late James and Ruby Agent Cates. She worked as a waitress and was a member of Farmington Baptist Church where she was recently baptized. She was an avid UT Vols and Tennessee Titans fan. She was a generous caregiver for her family and provided well for them. She loved going to the beach and spending time there with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Wallace.
She is survived by two sons, Darryl Cates and Justin Wallace both of Chapel Hill; grandchildren Luke and Syra Agent; sister Carol Burns of Lewisburg; niece Brandi (Brad) Skinner of Lewisburg; nephew Cory (Kristina) Burns of Chapel Hill; great nephew Brayden; great nieces, Hayleigh, Braylyn, Brooklynn, Blaike, Brighton, and LB; brother-in-law Anthony Wallace, sister-in-law Linda Wallace and Tommy Lawrence.
No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to London Funeral Home toward the funeral expenses.
