Sherrod Wayne Roy, age 73 of Florence, passed away on Thursday, March 30th at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation for Mr. Roy will be held at the Elkins Chapel in Florence on Monday, April 3rd from 6pm – 8pm. Graveside services will be held at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence on Tuesday, April 4th at 11am.
Mr. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Hence Cole and Lillie Roy; and a sister, Vivian Boddie.
He is survived by sisters, Bettie McDaniel, Rose Pruitt, and Carol Lumbus; brothers, Freddie and Allen Roy; son, Sherrod W. Anderson; and a host of friends, family, and other relatives.
