Sherril Jackson Collins age 85, of Arab passed away Sat. July 15, 2023, at Marshall Medical Center North. Sherril was born on Nov. 15, 1937, in Cullman County, AL the son of Elvin H. and Gara Hallmark Collins. He retired after serving 20 years in the United States Navy. He then worked for 20 years for TVA. He was married to Sylvia Marsh Collins who passed away on Aug. 14, 2018. He is survived by his son: James Dean (Jamie) Collins; daughter: Scarlott Jill Collins Lowe (Allan); sister: Marcella Collins Anderson (Roger); grandchildren: John Caleb Lowe, Caroline Rebecca Lowe Wright (Jonathan), Samuel E. Collins and William A. Collins. Funeral Service will be Thurs. July 20, 2023, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel. Burial with US Navy Honors will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wed. at Gober Funeral Chapel.
