Sherri Huffman of Meridianville passed away on Sunday. She was 62. She grew up in Huntsville and was a graduate of Johnson High School. In 2021, she retired from the City of Huntsville Municipal Court where she had worked for over 30 years.
Sherri loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she enjoyed relaxing and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Morgan; her brother, Mike Morgan; her grandson, Cole Huffman.
Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Rachelle & Jason East; Her son and daughter-in-law, George & Kristen Huffman; Her grandchildren: Ryan Huffman, Nataleigh Huffman, Parker East, and Kyle East; Her mother, Alice Morgan; Her brothers, Devin Morgan and Toby Morgan.
To celebrate Sherri’s life, the family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
