Sherri Anastasia Pester of Harvest, Alabama passed away peacefully on 5/16/2020 at 54 years of age surrounded by her friends, family, and daughters.
Sherri was born in Bristol, TN on February 16, 1966. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and worked as a dietician for Parkway Medical Center/Huntsville Hospital in Decatur, AL for the past 30 years.
Sherri was the most faithful mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, and caregiver God could have asked for. She will be missed greatly but has left much of her behind for those who loved her. Jesus said He “came to serve and not to be served,” and Sherri was an example of following in his footsteps.
Sherri is survived by her husband Joseph Pester; daughters Haley Kristen Fiorucci and Anna Lauren Fiorucci; her mother Ann C. Rowland and father James E. Rowland, Jr.; brothers Bruce Rowland, his wife and four children, and Glen Rowland, his wife and son.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will arrange a celebration of life at a time and place to be determined. They also want to thank so much all her friends and caregivers who lovingly and caringly made her life and last weeks better.
