Sherman Gene Hendrix, 66, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. A graveside service will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery, Cherokee, beginning at 11:30 a.m. with Rod Stansky officiating.
Sherman was a member of the Methodist church. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Hendrix; and sisters, Pamela Hart and Teresa Saran.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Thornburg; stepfather, Neil Thornburg; and sister, Cyndy Meckl (Dennis).
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
