Sherie Lee Singleton Wimpee, 68, of Florence Alabama went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday November 2, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends at North Alabama Medical Center.
Sherie was described by her family and friends as a very sassy, headstrong, giving person who never met a stranger. She was a precious woman who enjoyed a good laugh, her children and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alonzo and Idelene Singleton.
Sherie is survived by her children, Tina Burroughs, Josh Murphy (Heidi), and Meguel Burroughs (Summer); grandchildren, Raye, Emily, Chevy, and Mason; siblings, Carolyn Miller, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Singleton (Peggy); and several nieces and nephews; honorary sister and best friend, Dana Sanderson.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 11AM to 12PM at Father’s House Church with Bro. Jerry Balentine officiating. Anyone is invited to come share favorite memories of Sherie. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
There are special people in our lives who never leave us, even after they are gone. We do not remember days, we remember moments. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened! The best and most beautiful thing in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.
