Funeral Services for Mr. Sheridan Belcher, age 79 of Anniston, will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Ashland City Cemetery.
Mr. Belcher passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. He was born and raised in Fayette, AL and was a graduate of Fayette County High School. After Graduation, he entered in the Carraway Medical Center’s Radiology Technology Program. Once he completed the Program, he worked for Carraway Medical Center for 25 years, even becoming the Director of Radiology. He then worked for the Regional Medical Center in Anniston for 15 years as the Director of Radiology. Lastly, we worked at the St. Clair Regional Medical Center until he retired. Mr. Belcher enjoyed playing Golf, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He loved intensely, had a vibrant Sense of Humor, and was a hard-working and loving family man.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Belcher (Jeff Easter); his grandson, Jonathan Taylor; his brother, Craig Belcher (Jan), all of Anniston; plus some other extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Halverson Rudolph and Van Vure Sanford Belcher; his son, Jonathan Belcher; and one brother, Van Wayne Belcher.
Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Easter, Jonathan Belcher, Craig Belcher, Frank Cockerham, and Jack Parker.
His visitation will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M.
