Sheltie Anna Griffin, age 76, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 2:00pm at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Southside, Alabama.
Rev. Bruce Jenkins will officiate.
Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Griffin was born in Etowah County, Alabama in 1946. She was a 1965 graduate of Southside High School and worked in local hospitals for several years as an LPN. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Bobo; grandson, Chris Wheeler;
parents, John Chester and Odell Fultz Griffin; brothers, Ben Griffin, Don Griffin,
and John Griffin.
Ms. Griffin is survived by her son, Allan (Terri) Cushing; daughter, Traci (Tommy) Massaro; daughter-in-law, Dawn Frey; grandchildren, Michael (Jordyn) Cushing, Morgan Cushing (Blake) Higgins, Lorren Massaro (Janiel) Lister, Ryan Massaro, Andrew Massaro, Aubrey Bobo, Griffin Bobo, and Payton Bobo; great-grandchildren, Paisley Bobo, Carter Lister, Karson Higgins, and Charlotte Lister;
sister, Nancy Lovvorn; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Allan Cushing, Tommy Massaro, Ryan Massaro, Andrew Massaro, Bobby Lovvorn, Trey Lovvorn.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Riverview Regional Medical Center CCU, especially nurses Hannah and Kaylee.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:30pm until 1:30 pm prior to the service.
