Mrs. Shelia Lenee Timmons, age 59, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in Columbia, TN. Mrs. Timmons was born on December 8, 1954 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Mrs. Timmons was retired from General Motors. She was the most generous, kind-hearted, and wonderful mother that her three daughters could have ever asked for. Mrs. Timmons was preceded in death by her father, Charles Earnest Davis; step-father, Iry Dunlap, Jr.; and one brother, Charles “Greg” Davis.
Mrs. Timmons is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Chuck Timmons; three daughters, Melissa Timmons, Cindy Timmons, and Aimee Timmons; one son-in-law, Thomas Franklin; four grandchildren, Aaron Russ, Andrew Timmons, Le’Asia Timmons, and Layla Franklin; and her mother, Geneva Dunlap all of Chapel Hill, TN. Survivors also include two sisters, Susan Davis and Barb (Mike) Suchy all of Garden City, Michigan. Mrs. Timmons was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone she knew.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
