Shelby Reeves Watson Profile PhotoShelby Reeves Watson, a beloved soul cherished by many, was born on September 17, 1936, in Bethel Springs, TN to the late Guy E. and Estelle Smith Nix.

She entered into a beautiful union with Fred Watson on February 14, 2021.

Throughout her life’s journey, Mrs. Watson dedicated over 20 years of her career to FedEX as an administrative assistant, demonstrating unwavering dedication and professionalism. Her spiritual guidance was found at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, where her presence radiated warmth and kindness.

Mrs. Watson’s talents were boundless; she was a true artisan. Her hands brought to life masterpieces in cake decorating, sewing, quilting, gardening, and cooking. Her creativity knew no bounds and inspired all who had the privilege of witnessing her work.

On June 13, 2024, in Henderson, Tennessee, Mrs. Watson peacefully passed away at the age of 87 Years, 8 Months, 27 Days. She leaves behind her loving husband, Fred Watson of Henderson, TN; her daughter, Dianne Newton and husband Roy of Olive Branch, MS; her son, Randy Reeves and wife Lori of Bethel Springs, TN; along with 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren whom she adored deeply.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry E. Reeves; a daughter, Hollie L. Reed.

As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman whose spirit touched so many hearts, let us remember not the tears of sorrow but the joy she brought into our lives through her kindness and creativity. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her warmth and love.
