Shelby Jones, 77, of Moulton passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at NHC of Moulton. Visitation will be from 12:00 till 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Tim McCormack and Gary Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
A member of Jones Chapel Church, Shelby is survived by her son, Darrell Jones; daughters, Teresa McCoy (Dennis) and Debbie Adams (Barry); grandsons, Derick McCoy, Chad (Brittany), Brad (Katie) Little, and Cody (Kassie) Jones; great granddaughters, Ellisa and Cally Faith Little; siblings, Cecil Southern, Shirley Livingston, Sue Shaffer, Joyce Burrow, Linda Cathey, and Gary Southern; and a host of friends and loved ones.
Shelby was preceded in death by her husband, Aubie Jack Jones; parents Robert and Etta Southern; sisters, Agnes Tucker and Jeanette Nails.
Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Kenny Jones, Derick McCoy, Allen Livingston, Jody Jones, Toby Jones, and honorary pallbearer, Barry Patterson.
The family extends special thanks to the staff of NHC for their extended love and care for Shelby.
