Shelby was a loved and cherished friend to all who were blessed enough to be in her life! She would give her time and talents to anyone in need. That was her passion in life!

She was an amazing Southern cook. She loved to have anyone drop in for one of her famous hearty meals. [She loved being the host for family gatherings.] She was always the first to prepare a meal for those in need. She would not only prepare meals for her church family, but would always serve and stay around to clean up too. She loved her Sunday school class, the Ruth class, and rarely missed a class sitting by her special friend Martha Ringlestein.

She was a very spunky lady that could out-work most young folks. She worked an 8-5 job most of her life. She retired from Abco Furniture. After retiring, Shelby enjoyed her hobbies which included decorating her home, tending to her beautiful flowers, caring for her cherished fur buddy “Rascal”, and road tripping with friends and family. She especially loved the weekly trips that she and Mandy would make to Huntsville shopping, eating and enjoying life.

Shelby had too many special friends to mention. But, two very important people she treasured were Tim and Patricia Sharp.

Loved by family, friends, and neighbors, the central community will not be the same without Miss Shelby. We love her dearly and miss her already, but look forward to the joyous reunion with her one day!
