A memorial Service for Mrs. Shelby Jean Wolfe age 84 Carrollton, GA will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday October 27, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Protestant Bible Church with Bro. John Luckie and Bro. David Nicholz officiating.
Our sweet Shelby Wolfe (Mimmie) left this world to claim her spot in Heaven on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Shelby was born in Alexander City, Alabama on March 11, 1939 to Thurman and Ellie R. Champion. She attended school at Newsite High School. After high school she attended nursing school in Childersburg, Al. She continued her career in nursing for over 40 years. Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wolfe, her parents, Thurman and Ellie R. Champion, and her brother Charles Champion.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Tammie and Keith Butler, Kim and Michal Walker, Terry and Melinda Wolfe, Charles and Sheila Wolfe, Jerry Wolfe and Joseph Wolfe. Her grandchildren: Holly, Adam, Brent, Morgan, Ashley, Rusty, Amanda, Shaun and Brandy, her sister Melba Cheaney, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews, and her special friend Randy Chamblee.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of arrangements.
