Shelby Jean Williams age 79 of Athens, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 ay Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Williams was born September 13, 1938 in Limestone County, AL to Thomas Edgar Nave and Connie Mae Patterson Nave.
Services will be Friday, December 1, 2017 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Jones officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Williams was a member of Mays Memorial Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edgar Nave and Connie Mae Nave; two brothers, Charles Leon Nave and Thomas Ollie Nave.
Survived by two daughters, Shelia Ann Perry Thompson and Pamela Denise Perry Harrison; companion, Lawrence Gene Williams; two brother, Kenneth (Dude) Eugene Nave and wife, Elizabeth and Ronnie Joe nave and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Amanda Carpenter McDowell and Heather, Daniel Little and Erin, Joshua Spry and Jacob Spry; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Spry, Daniel Little, Mickey Nave, T.C. Nave, Deverl Nave and Greg Nave. Honorary pallbearer will be Jake Spry.
