Sheila Vandiver Martin, 65, Muscle Shoals, moved to her heavenly home on Monday, December 11, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, December 16, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Darren English officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Leighton.
Sheila was a beautiful woman who loved everybody. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina Hatton Dolan; parents, Clyde and Maceline Vandiver; and siblings, Clyde Vandiver, Jr., Jr. Landers, Jake Landers, Terry Vandiver, and Stella Vandiver.
Sheila is survived by her son, Chris Hatton (Christy); sisters, Carolyn Atkisson and Alice Roden; grandchildren, Sheree Hatton (Vincent), Racelon Hatton, Laycee Dolan, and Gracie Dolan; great-grandchildren, Shaylee Brackin, Karter and Karsyn Williams, and Emberly Amethyst St. John; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Williams, Cody Usleton, Jeremiah Back, James Hatton, Briggs Cartony, and Robert Brackin. Lester Hatton will serve as honorary pallbearer.
