Sheila Marie Young, 65 of Breman, formerly of Arab, died Thursday December 7, 2017 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.
Ms. Young was born December 5, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to Orby Venell “O.V.” Shedd and Minnie “Beatrice” Morrow Shedd. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano, watching TV, spending time with family and she loved her cats.
She was a member of Arab Holiness Church.
Ms. Young in survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Shauna Self and Scott; her father: O.V. Shedd; her brother and sister-in-law: Orby Dale Shedd and Gayla; her grandchildren: Tesa Sims, Tylar Self, Trissy Self and Tianna Self; great grandchildren: Adrianna Nicole Self and Karson Alexander Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter Andrea Luke and her mother: Beatrice Shedd.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Jack Lynch, officiating. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
