Sheila Ann McCraig Elkins, age 61, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Sonny Owens officiating. Interment will be at Thornton-Ingram Cemetery.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Elkins was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ and was the sister of the late Robert McCaig, who was a purple heart recipient.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred McCaig and Mildred Kelley; and step-father, Everett Kelley.
Survivors include
husband of 42 years, Hollis “Lonnie” Elkins Jr.;
sons, Mark Anthony Elkins (Deanna), of Greenhill,
Kelly Lee Elkins (Donna), of Florence;
half-sister, Pat Callaway;
brothers, Len, Terry and Randy Kelley;
mother-in-law, Jewell Elkins;
sister-in-law, Deana Ragsdale;
very special sister-in-law, Angie Elkins;
four grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
several nieces; and nephews.
