Sheffield Teen Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident Two Other Teens Injured

TUSCUMBIA-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle crash that has taken the life of one teen and injured two others:

“A single-vehicle crash at approximately 11:35 p.m. Saturday, February 5, has claimed the life of a Sheffield teen.

The 15-year-old was fatally injured when the 2011 Hyundai Accent they were a passenger in left the roadway and struck a tree. The juvenile was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash, which occurred on Blue Road, five miles south of Tuscumbia. The driver and back seat passenger who were also juveniles were injured and airlifted to an area hospital.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
