SHEFFIELD-The Sheffield Redevelopment Authority proudly presents “Sunday Sunsets”
at Riverfront Park. Members of the group hope to draw visitors to the City for evenings of live
music, food and drinks, and family fun. Sunday Sunsets will be held from 4-7pm each week and
will feature local bands.
Sunday Sunsets will kick off on October 13th with popular band Déjà Vu, singing and playing
crowd favorites. Entertainment on October 20th will be provided by those famous Sheffield
hometown favorites Drs., Lawyers, and Such! Closing out the month on Sunday, October 27th
will be Shoals area music legends Bama Border!
Sheffield Redevelopment Authority (SRA) was formed in 2005 by the Sheffield City Council.
The SRA mission is to promote and assist the City’s economic growth and development with
marketing and promotion of the City’s unique attributes. SRA functions as a catalyst, funding
mechanism, advisor, partner, and/or participant in a variety of efforts intended to foster sound
growth and development of Sheffield. Committees include Business Recruitment-Retention;
Arts-Entertainment-Recreation; Finance-Fundraising; and Marketing-Communications. SRA is
working to create an attractive and prosperous city where people can live, work, shop, and visit
while enjoying a rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural resources.
