Sheffield Police hold Barbecue event

If you head down Montgomery Avenue in Sheffield today (Saturday), you will detect the great aroma of barbecue emanating from the Municipal Building lawn.

The Brat Pack, a local women’s group that works with people diagnosed with breast cancer, is benefiting from a big barbecue cookout. The Brat Pack is a group that provides support to cancer patients and their families who are dealing with difficult medical treatment.

Sheffield Police Captain Ray Terry said that the barbecue proceeds will go to The Brat Pack to help them fund their work.
