SHEFFIELD – Sheffield will be having Holiday Trolley tours that will give the histories of some of Sheffield’s oldest homes. The tours will be on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:00 am and Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 2:00 pm. Each tour will begin in front of City Hall, 600 N. Montgomery Avenue in Sheffield. Tours will be led by local historian Jimmy Austin and will drive along North Montgomery Avenue and surrounding streets. Seating is limited on the trolley. Tickets are $5 and are available at Sheffield Public Library (256-386-5633), Colbert County Tourism office, and on-site if still available. Proceeds of the tours benefit Historic Sheffield Commission.
