SHEFFIELD-The Thomas Sledge family, continue to honor Thomas Sledge legacy of love and principles of education, faith, and the community.
On Friday, May 17, Thomas’ Legacy Of Love supported two deserving students at Sheffield High School Awards Day. Iyana Davis and Daisy Loza received a $1000 scholarship.
Iyana Davis is the daughter of Carolyn Birgans. In the fall, Iyana will attend NWSCC to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.
Daisy Loza is the daughter of Maximilian Loza. Daisy will attend NWSCC to pursue studies for a medical career.
Additionally, the students were awarded laptops by Sharon’s Arms to enhance their educational journey.
The collaborative gestures of scholarships and laptops by Thomas’ Legacy of Love and Sharon’s Arms embodies the spirit of education and community.
Thomas’s story of 26 years in assisting Jerry Mills and dedicating himself to ensuring students at SHS had a brighter future is a testament to his Legacy of Love.
Donations to support Thomas’ Legacy of Love are accepted at Bank Independent.
