Shearon Ann Waldrop of Selmer, TN departed this life on November 1, 2016 at her home at the age of 72 Years, 7 Months, 18 Days. She was born March 14, 1944 in McNairy County the daughter of the late Ivan Terry and Elmer Cleo Armour Terry.
Mrs. Waldrop grew up in the Silerton Community of Hardeman County. She was united in marriage to Clyde Jackson Waldrop on March 5, 1966. She worked for several years with the Mother’s Day Out ministry of Selmer First Baptist Church taking care of the babies. Shearon enjoyed going to the smokey mountains, eating out with friends, decorating her house, and working in our flowers. She was a member of Bethel Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Jackson Waldrop of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Debra Lynn Jordan and husband Justin of Selmer; two granddaughters, Brittany Lynn Barclay and husband John Ryan and Bailey Nicole Hinson; a brother, Don Terry and wife Audry of Toone, TN; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs Waldrop was preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne Waldrop; a brother, Gene Terry.
