Shaunda Kaye Daniels, 44, went to be with her Jesus on October 7, 2023, surrounded by her family. Shaunda grew up in Pontotoc, MS where she met the love of her life, Jed Daniels. They were married on June 12, 1998, and spent the last 25 years serving God, serving others, and serving one another. She was a faithful pastor’s wife of 22 years, where she loved to minister to children. Shaunda was a devoted follower of Christ, wife, mother, daughter, and aunt. She loved traveling, singing, playing with the babies, long talks on the back porch, and worshipping the Lord. She loved her two children with all of her heart and supported them in everything they did. Out of all things she excelled at, being a mother was her favorite.
Shaunda is survived by her husband, Jed Daniels; her children, Connor and Keigan Daniels; her parents; Danny and Glenda Dunlap; her sister, Karen Ward (Cole); her grandmother, Effie May Seward; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a trio of great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Omi and Katie Lee Dunlap; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She will be loved and missed by all.
Services will be Monday, October 9, 2023, at 12PM at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10AM and continue to service time, Burial will follow in Antioch Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
