Sharron Marie Wilson – Obituary

Sharron Marie Wilson was born on October 7, 1943. She departed this life on April 8, 2017, at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 1 day.

Sharron was raised in a military family. Because of this, she lived in several places including Peoria, Illinois, Victoria, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona. Sharron graduated from Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix, Arizona. Then, she moved to Savannah, Tennessee to live with her grandparents, Clester and Ethel Gann.Before retiring, Sharron worked at PCA and LTV Steel Corporation in Counce, Tennessee, Central Bank in Savannah, Tennessee, and as a hostess at Hagy’s Catfish Hotel. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee since the 1960’s. Sharron was a great cook, and she was always cooking for family and friends. She loved to read and listen to gospel music, and she also enjoyed going to the beach and being with her family, especially her granddaughters.

Sharron is survived by her son, Lee Daniel Wilson and wife Lauren of Bothell, Washington; daughter, Anna Marie Harrington and husband Jonathan of Oxford, Mississippi; sisters, Renita Page Holmes of Chandler, Arizona and Ruth Ann Lawrence of Glendale, Arizona; and granddaughters, Chloe Marie Harrington, age 9, and Sophia Claire Harrington, age 7, both of Oxford, Mississippi.

Sharron was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Marie Page, her stepfather, James Frances Page, her brother, Richard Lee Page, and her sister, Gwendolyn Sue Page.
