Sharon (Sherry) Miller, born on January 20, 1948, in Alexandria, VA, the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Louise Murino Norris.
She dedicated over 35 years of her life to the City of Memphis, working diligently in the accounting department. While she was raised in the Catholic faith, her spiritual journey led her to Jesus Name Community Church for the last 5 years.
Known for her love of birdwatching, gardening, and reading, Mrs. Miller found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments with her great nieces and nephews.
On May 10, 2024, at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 20 days, she peacefully passed away in Guys, Tennessee. She leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of her family including her three grandchildren: Dustin Bennett (April), Alyssa Bennett, and Amber Bennett; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Bennett; two stepsons, Robert Miller (Leah) and John Andrew Dolby; a brother, Terry Norris (Gwen). Among those who will deeply miss her are nieces, Misty Chessor (Kenny), Kristin Griffin (David); her nephews Keith Huggins (Leslie), Brad Norris (Dawn), and Trey Norris (Jamie); and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
In the embrace of eternity, Mrs. Miller reunites with her beloved husband, John Allen Miller; her son, Troy Bennett, and her sister, Debbie Huggins. May her gentle soul rest in peace as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her dearly.
