Sharon Phillips SloanSharon Phillips Sloan, age 86 of Murfreesboro died Friday December 2, 2022, at Stones River Manor after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born April 1, 1936, in Spencer County, Indiana to Curtis  Phillips and Catherine Oldham Phillips. In 1946 the family moved to Brentwood. In 1951 she met her future husband on a blind date. After almost two years of courtship, they were married in 1953. After the children started to school, she worked in the family business, Sloan’s Motorcycle/ ATV, for many years. She was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ where she served as a faithful elder’s wife for 26 years.

Sharon is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years along with her children Curtis(Tess) Sloan and Julie (Jerry)Link, grandchildren, Matt (Kyra) Sloan, Megan (Cole) Monroe, Michelle Link; great- grandchildren Kayla and Jackson Sloan, Grayson and Sloan Monroe, two sisters Dixie Gasser and Carole Lashley.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Blvd Church of Christ, Stones River Manor, MTCS or any Christian Ministry.

The family would like to thank Stones River Manor , Alive Hospice and Honeyhill Eldercare for all the wonderful care they have provided.

Visitation will be 3:00PM to 7:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Young officiating. Current or retire Elders of North Blvd will serve as pallbearers. www.woodfinchapel.com
