Sharon Kay Wingo, 67, Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, April 4, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with David Conley and Ed White officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Kay loved everybody. She raised a lot of kids, while not having any of her own. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Nell Wingo.
Kay is survived by her brother, Dennis Wingo (Peggy); sisters, Sandra Archer (O’Neal) and Ruby Chandler (Ricky); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Luke Archer; Darrell Vandiver; Johnny Pounders; and special great-nephews, Dakota, Peyton, and Bristol Vandiver.
