Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth Summars, age 76, will be held at 10 am Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the funeral home. Appropriate social distancing protocols with masks recommended, will be observed as set forth by the CDC and the State of Tennessee.
Mrs. Summars, was a CSR for Gibson County Utility District and a member of the Westside Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mrs. Summars was preceded in death by her husband, Guy David Summars.
Mrs. Summars is survived by two daughters, Jill Bateman and husband Jeff , and Gail Lewis and husband Tim both of Trenton, TN; a son, Scott Summars and wife Shelia of Henderson, TN; and seven grandchildren, Josh Lewis and wife Alexandria, Shanna Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Jake Bateman, Ryan Bateman, Addison Summars, and Claire Summars.
