Sharon Daugette, 61 of Arab, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Daugette was born December 27, 1955 in Germany, to Kenneth Leo Ringgold and Mary Eula Stephens Ringgold. She was a homemaker and had been married to Jimmy Benford Daugette for 23 years. She moved to Arab from Augusta Georgia in 1992. Mrs. Daugette enjoyed crocheting, reading her Bible and watching Christian T.V.
She was a member of New Life Church in Arab.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years: Jimmy Daugette; her son and daughter-in-law: Creighton and Jennifer Phillips; daughters and sons-in-law: Tiffany Phillips, Leslie Nichole and Jerry Davis, Sharon Waters, Mary and Terry Julian and Karen Phillips; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers and sister-in-law: Jimmy Ray and Sherry Ringgold, Kenneth Ringgold and a sister and brother-in-law: Janice and Julius Whisenant.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday February 19, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Derek Sherrill and Dean Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Chandlin Ringgold, Terry Julian, Jerry Davis, Frank Daugette, Barry Daugette and Bobby Daugette.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday February 18, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
