Shannon Kimberly Terry, a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse, passed away on June 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Born on June 27, 1970, in Middlesex, New Jersey, Shannon’s life was a shining example of selflessness devotion to her family.
Shannon’s career as a nurse spanned many years, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her caring nature and healing hands. She obtained her associates degree in nursing from Jackson State Community College, showcasing her commitment to providing the best care possible to those in need.
Described as a beautiful and wonderful person, Shannon’s warm smile and kind heart made everyone around her feel loved and valued. Her family meant everything to her, and she dedicated her life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. Shannon’s gentle spirit and joyful demeanor brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her work and family, Shannon found joy in simple pleasures such as solving puzzles and spending time with dogs and other animals. Her hobbies reflected her nurturing nature and her ability to find beauty in the little things in life.
Among Shannon’s proudest accomplishments were her son and her family. She poured her love and support into raising her son, shaping him into the person he is today. Her unconditional love will continue to inspire him and all who knew Shannon.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, William Tyler Terry; father, William “Bill” P. Terry; sisters, Stephanie Terry, Sheila Sites, and Stacey Adams; niece, Sidney Adams Boals; and several more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Marie Harris Sikes.
There will be no services, as Shannon requested.
Shannon Kimberly Terry’s presence will be deeply missed by her surviving family members and friends. Although she may no longer be with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her love. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a profound impact on all who crossed her path.
