Funeral Services for Mrs. Shannan Belle Thomas, age 45 of Auburn will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Providence Holiness Tabernacle Church in Ashland at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Irvin officiating. Interment will be at the adjoining cemetery located with the church at 181 Providence Rd, Ashland, AL 36251. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 12:00 before the funeral.

Shannan Belle Thomas passed from this world and into the next. She believed in God wholeheartedly and wished nothing but peace and love to the world. She was a prolific reader, highly intelligent, a devoted mother, and a beautiful wife. Shannan strived to not be a source of ill will, but to turn the other cheek. Though very shy was a friend to many. Shannan would always put others before herself and make sure others needs were met before her own. Her devotion to family was like none other. In addition to being all of the above, she was an aspiring author with various works that are yet to be published. Shannan will be missed dearly and her family will carry her memory in their hearts for all time.

She is survived by 5 beautiful children, 4 sons and one daughter: US Marine Corporal Blake Hearrell, Cade Kilpatrick, Zaiden Thomas, Zuri Thomas and Zion Thomas. She is also survived by her mother, Myra Miller, sisters, Kimberely Hearrell, Melissa Canseco and brother, Brandon Hearrell.

In death she is preceeded only by her father, Army General Michael Andrew Hearrell.

Her legacy is carried on through her devoted husband of 16 years, Jamaal Thomas, who strives to meet the standards of kindness, compassion, and how to stand up for others, that was set and demonstrated by Shannan.

Active Pallbearers will be Alberto Canseco, Logan Canseco, Wesley Canseco, Eric Canseco, Blake Hearrell and Cade Kilpatrick.
