Funeral for Seyburne Dewaugh Borden, 72, of Trinity will be Friday, February 27, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Bellview Baptist Church with Alan Queen officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Borden, who died Monday, February 23, 2015, at his residence, was born October 20, 1942, in Morgan County to Thurston and Hester Borden. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from 3M. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Borden was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Brown and Kathy Slayton.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Borden; one son, Patrick Borden and wife, Alma; one daughter, Lisa Terry and husband, Robert; five grandchildren, Jonathan Terry and wife, Kate, Jason Terry, Brody Borden, Elijah Borden and Addison Borden; one brother, James Borden and wife, Ella; and one sister, Margaret Hill and husband, Euell.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Terry, Jason Terry, Chris Slayton, Tim Brown, Steve Brown and James Ellis Borden.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
