DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department assisted by the United States Marshals Service on a Drug Bust on Friday, June 12.
Here is how the Decatur Police describe the arrests:
“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On June 12, 2015, the United States Marshals Service assisted by officers of the Decatur Police Department served a felony arrest warrant at 2818 Apt D2. After locating the individual that had the felony warrant, officers came into contact with several other subjects inside this apartment. Due to a felonious amount of drugs being located inside the apartment, officers contacted Inv. Hudson with Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit.
Inv. Hudson arrived and located a quantity of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia that is consistent with the packaging and sales of illegal narcotics.
Inv. Hudson also located 2 loaded handguns inside the apartment. Seven individuals were placed under arrest and transported to the Decatur City Jail. They will all be transferred to the Morgan County Jail at a later date. Their names and charges are as follows:
Demarrius Lashawn Goode- Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Goode is out on bond for a prior Trafficking charge. His bond was set at $101,000.00
Donta Shermane Rollins- Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Rollins will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
William Jovon Johnson-Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Johnson will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
Antonie Tyrone Scruggs-Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Scruggs will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
Craig Oneal Carter-Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Carter will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
Glendrick Lamar Hayes-Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Hayes will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.
Montravious Shamere Walton-Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering.
Walton will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.”
