Our beloved Sevanti Manandhar of Madison, Alabama departed this world on Monday, April 15th leaving behind her husband Madhu, son Raj, daughter Deepa, granddaughter Munsa, grandson Neelesh, brother Hargovind Singh and sister Neena in India and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and coworkers. Having lost her mother in early childhood, Sevanti’s life was shaped by her father a retired British Army Captain and community leader in India. She retired in 2011 after 23 years of service at Ramapo College of New Jersey Library and loved the beach, birds, flowers, gardening, nature, children, walking, being active and the health conscious lifestyle.
The family will receive friends at Spry Funeral Home Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Doctor’s Without Borders.
