Selvyn Wallace, 67, of the Peaceful Valley community, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born July 16, 1945, to Lemone Edward Wallace and Eva Mae Knight Wallace. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army as a combat medic. He worked in the furniture industry for over thirty years. He was also a nurse for Gilmore Memorial Hospital and for Dr. Murphy in Amory.
Private graveside services will be at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the Burdine Cemetery. McNeece–Morris Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include one sister, Gwyn Bacot (Bill) of Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Larie Wallace, who died February 25, 2011.
