Second Suspect Wanted In May 11th Robbery In Custody

FLORENCE-The second suspect, Daniel Chance Odom, 37 who was wanted in the robbery that took place on May 11 has been arrested.

Odom was arrested Wednesday, May 25  by U.S. marshals and Lauderdale County sheriff’s deputies.

Odom was charged with 2nd degree robbery and 2nd burglary,  He is being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

The other suspect, Alexander Chase Balentine, 22, of Florence, already had been arrested in the case and faces the same charges, officials said.

The two men have been accused in the robbery of a woman at gunpoint in an apartment in the 200 block of Edgewood Drive.
