Missing 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin has been added to a website for missing and exploited children.
The toddler is now listed on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website.
PINSON–As the search for Noah Chamberlin enters into almost a week without a clue as to the whereabouts of the two-year-old, Chester County Sheriff Blair Weaver and Madison County Sheriff John Mehr met with the media during a press conference to answer questions on the search. The press conference was held at Pinson Baptist Church on Monday, January 18.
Weaver said that searchers have combed nearly 1,000 or more acres and the search is expanding daily. Mehr said the greatest challenge to the search is the rough terrain and managing hundreds of searchers. He could not discuss whether trail cameras in the woods showed any signs of Noah. He did reiterate this is not a criminal investigation.
Weaver said authorities have searched caves, checked the sex offender registry and used every type of search dog available.
According to Weaver Noah’s family has been interviewed and also confirmed that the family is not interested in addressing the media.
200-300 agencies have been involved in searching for the missing toddler, Mehr said. He also reminded people wh live near the search area to again check their cars, garages, crawl spaces and anywhere a child might gain access.
Weaver said, “At this point nothing matters except Noah.”
