Sean Ray Vess unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, cause at this time is undetermined. He was 36 years of age and had epilepsy. Sean was born in Huntsville, Alabama on April 16, 1983. He graduated Bob Jones High School in 2001, and attended college at Calhoun Community, UAH, and UNA.
Sean was a loving son as well as a great care giver. He assisted his mother with taking care of his aging grandparents. After their death, he continued assisting his mother caring for his nephew while his sister worked. Sean was into tabletop gaming, frequented The Lucky Dice Cafe, and ran his video game streaming page, FallenTurtle.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby R. Vess, Ray and Emma Dobbs, and uncle, R. Bruce Dobbs,
Survivors include mother, Sandra D. Gallagher; grandmother, Sieglinde Vess; father, James W. Vess; sister, Ashley R. Vess; nephew, Draco L. Vess; aunt, Linda Glenn; uncle, Kevin Glenn; cousins, Nicole and Brandon Glenn; great-uncles, George Benzenhafer and Mike Fuhrer; great-aunt Phyllis Fuhrer; and second and third cousins, M. Scott, J. Kirt, Dale, Zoey, Aiden, Tylor Fuhrer, Amy, Matthew, Wilson, Hughes, Hollis Schmitz, Eric, Cristina, Katherine, and Annalease Benzenhafer
