Scott Stalvey, 53, of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at UAB Palliative Care surrounded by his family. Scott worked at KTH in Leesburg.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Cemetery with Dr. Marshall Henderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to UAB Palliative Comfort Care, 1713 6th Avenue S., Birmingham, AL 35233. Words could never express Scott’s family’s thankfulness for the care he received.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Robin Blaylock Stalvey; his pride and joy – son Caleb Stalvey (Allie Galloway); his father Junior Stalvey and wife Denise; mother Joyce Stalvey; step-siblings Tabatha Hilyer and Alan Thomas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Sherry Blansit and grandparents Jessie Stalvey, Horton Stalvey, and Nell Beason.
Pallbearers will be Carla Thacker, Brandon Davis, Caden Holbrook, Randy Moses, Chuck Holbrook, Zach McCord.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
