Scott Michael Williams – Obituary

Scott Michael Williams, 58, of Huntsville died unexpectedly Monday, March 4, 2019. Born in Ilion, New York, he was a 1978 graduate of New Hope High School.  Scott faithfully attended First United Methodist Church with his family for the past nine years.  He lived his life with conviction and was a caring part of his church community.  Scott worked as a local builder and contractor throughout the Huntsville area during his adult life.

Scott is survived by his devoted wife of 18 years, Suzette Renee Mikell, and two loving sons, Winton Mikell Williams and Walker Kennedy Williams. Scott is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Kay Hammonds of Huntsville; sister, Joy Williams West (Eric) of Huntsville, and brother, John Williams (Valerie) of Grant, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by B.C. Hammonds and brother, Butler Hammonds.  Scott was blessed to have numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who were very special to him.

Scott will be remembered as a man of integrity, faith, and immense love for his family. His wife, Suzette, remembers him as a genuine and kind man who loved the Lord with all his heart.  Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Scott Michael Williams at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in the historic sanctuary. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow in the Wesley Center Fellowship Hall.
