Scott Magness was born on April 19, 1972 in Hollywood, Florida, the son of Warner Calvin Magness and Pauline Hinton-Stricklin.
On June 8, 1990, he was united in marriage to Heather Rosita Harville, who survives.
Scott worked as a handyman. He was a big family man and loved his close ones dearly. His pride and joy was his children and grandchildren. Scott enjoyed camping, working on projects, and his model trains.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Heather Magness of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Mickel Magness and wife Eva Trinh of Atlanta, Georgia and Nicholas Magness and wife Kristin of Scottsboro, Alabama; daughter, Abigail Magness of Savannah, Tennessee; father, Warner Magness and wife Mary Magness of Conroe, Texas; mother, Pauline Hinton-Stricklin and husband Charlie Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Vicky Culberth of Splendora, Texas and Marlene Kemp of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Wayne Magness of Cypress, Texas; and grandchildren, Ella Magness and Amelia Magness, both of Scottsboro, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father in law, Bud Harville and grandmother, Gertrude Williams.
