Scott Bradley McCallus, 64, of Tishomingo, MS, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on September 29, 1954 to Frederick McCallus and Jean Hodes Scott was employed with Southern Air Comfort since January 2, 1990. He was a member of Oldham Baptist Church in Iuka. He loved to metal detect for Civil War relics, build tank models, and spend time with horses. He enjoyed spending time with his little family and his whole world involved around Mia, his girly girl. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Brad Smullins. Interment will follow in Forrest Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Thomas Curry, Matt Beck, Kenny Gray, Shannon Moncref, Albert Duckett, and Danny Gattis. Honorary pallbearers include Larry Stanford, Darel Holloway, and Jake Holloway. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until 3 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cindy, and two sons: Steven (Amber) and Daniel, all of Tishomingo, MS. His granddaughter, Mia, was his joy and life. He has 3 brothers, Jeff McCallus (Rachel) of Messena, NY, Fred McCallus and Stanley McCallus; one sister, Christine McCallus; two nephews, Jeffrey McCallus (Danielle) and Justin McCallus (Stacy) and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Catherine Miller; and his father and mother in law, Clarence and Madelyn Oakes, whom he greatly loved.
