Sarah Stovall PepperSarah Stovall Pepper, 92, passed away at home on July 30, 2024, in Athens, Alabama. She was born in Limestone County, Alabama, to George and Velma Barksdale Stovall. She was a faithful Christian who worshiped at Bethel Church of Christ.

Sarah is survived by her loving husband of 76 years, Hugh Pepper; sons Tim Pepper (Kaye), and Scott Pepper (Molly); daughters Beth Spann (Chris) and Emily Fain; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; eight siblings; and a grandson, Trent Fain.

Sarah loved her family. She was happiest when cooking meals and visiting with her many family members and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Services for Sarah Pepper will be at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Jimmy Clark and Bro. Ken Butterworth officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1st, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
