Sarah Salisbury Brown, age 92, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, formerly of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Transitions LifeCare in Apex, NC.
Sarah was born January 30, 1932, in Bedford County, Tennessee, to the late William and Mary Chapman Salisbury. She was a homemaker and a member of Hickory Heights Church of Christ. She loved gardening and baking goods (especially pecan pies) for her family and friends. She loved her grandson, Charlie, a four legged English cream mini dachshund who was her best buddy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice “Bunt” Brown and a sister, Catherine Hargrove.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Raymond) Quinn of North Carolina; a sister, Salene Burrow of Lewisburg and grand niece Famelle (Derrick) Crump of Lewisburg.
Visitation with the family will be held in the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 12:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local Hospice facility or Hickory Heights Church of Christ.
