Funeral services for Sarah Nell Deason, 86, of Decatur, who passed away June 27, 2023 will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the Chapel prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Buice and Mildred Robinson Buice, her husband, Neal Deason, and sister, Barbara.
She is survived by her two sons, Keith Deason (Pamela),Lynn Deason, brother Dennis Buice (Sue), sister, Grace Ann Buice, two grandsons, Christopher Deason (Jana), Sean Deason (Britney), four great grandchildren, Philip Deason, Hayden Deason, Bryce Deason, Aubrey Deason.
She was a long-time member of Central Baptist Church and a member of the Adult Construction Mission Team. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
